《英语》五年级下册Unit5  Helping our parents Story time

二、教学目标

1.能听懂、会读、会说单词:parent, sweep the floor, wash the dishes.

2.能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词:clean, cook, busy.

4.能正确理解并朗读课文,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

Step3 Presentation

1.承接游戏

T:Today, I bring an English story to you. Its name is: Helping our parents.Do you have any questions? You can ask me with a question word? You can speak English or Chinese.

学生试着提问。

2.新授:parent

T: You have some questions. I have a question too. Who is helping parents? Look at the pictures and answer.

SS:

T: Look! Mike is helping his father. Mike is helping his parent.

新授:parent

T: Look, Mike and Helen are helping their mother. We also can say: They are helping their mother.

T:Here, parent means father. Here, parent means mother. So, what does parents mean?

3.阅读(总体理解)

(1)Watch and match

T: I have another question: What are they doing?

教读这句句子

T: What is Mike doing? What is Helen doing?

教读这两句句子

T: Now, lets watch and match.

T: Now, lets check. What is Mike doing? You can say like this: picture a, picture b,and so on.

学生试着说出,教师再教读:eat——clean,教师做擦车的动作。

T教师拿起一块抹布,边擦边引导学生说:I am cleaning the desk/chair/window/door.

Helping our parents 教学反思

欧阳静

本课主要围绕孩子帮助父母做家务的话题,呈现了现在进行时态特殊疑问句和肯定句的用法。教学重点是关于家务劳动的动词短语和现在进行时态的肯定句型。教师可要求学生自带全家福和呈现家居生活的照片,或者让学生画一幅体现家居生活的画,并想一想家务活有哪些,自己做过哪些,为课堂教学做好准备。在课的一开始我直接导入课题,提出问题How can we help our parents?引导学生回答,同时借助图片学习一些新的词组,如:make the bed, wash the dishes, sweep the floor等等。这一环节在高年级阶段运用可以提高运用单词的能力,复习旧的知识,提前渗透本课时教学内容。新课标指出:学生的发展是英语课程的出发点和归宿。我们根据小学生的心理和年龄特征,小学英语 教学更应注重激发学生学习英语的强烈愿望,使他们乐学、乐讲、乐用英语。在教学现在进行时的过程中,可以通过Do and Guess 的方式展开,一生做一些动作问“What am I doing?”,其他学生猜“You are…”, 增加课堂的活力,同时在游戏中不断运用现在进行时,避免了枯燥的看图说话。在导入课文的时候我围绕课文的两条线When and What,展开提问。学生自读课文,快速寻找信息点,孩子们在学习的过程中就可以提前渗透本课的框架,同时在不同程度上引导学生自学,提高他们自学的能力。教师可以充分利用书本50页上的Think and write, 让学生以小组合作的形式完成表格。在展示的过程中,要求学生以“Mr Black is cleaning the car in the morning.”的句型介绍文中 提到的人物。如果学生存在一定的困难,可以让他们参照文本内容,对文本内容的重要信息进行提炼进而学会表达。为了让学生更加地练好现在进行时,教师可以巧妙得设计一些笔头练习,如用动词的适当形式填空,看图写句,小作文等形式。题型可以丰富些,但要抓重难点,精讲少练,提高学生的学习兴趣和学习效率。

Helping our parents 听课反思

一年之计在于春,一日之计在于晨。4月3日,迎着晨晖,陶吴小学英语组全体教师满怀研讨和学习的热情,投入到了教研活动中。此次的教研课围绕五年级下册《Unit5 Helping our parents》展开,由五年级的欧阳静老师,让我们全体英语教师感受到了单元整体教学的魅力。

欧阳静老师在课堂中能面向全体学生,激发学生的深层思考和情感投入,鼓励学生大胆质疑、独立思考,引导学生用自己的语言阐明自己的观点和想法。通过合理的情境创设和lets dance, lets learn和can you ask me?三个环节,让学生对家务活的短语不仅有了清晰的感知,更进行了扎实的操练

欧阳静教学基本功扎实,思路清晰,表情亲切,过渡自然,过程由易到难,评价语言丰富,方法灵活多样。在课的伊始,欧阳老师用一首与该课内容紧密相关的歌曲营造一种轻松愉悦的课堂气氛。紧接着让学生循序渐进地掌握了家务活的短语和what are they doing?的句型。在课文教学中,欧阳老师注重学生的阅读能力的培养,给学生创设了一个真实地运用英语进行交流和交际的平台。特别是学生的发散性思维得到了很好的训练,学生们的想法天马行空,精彩纷呈,为这个故事增添了许多趣味性。

本节课内容充实,课堂活动设计合理,环节完整,文化渗透到位,课堂操练充分,亮点多多,值得我们学习。
