主题 Unit5 What do they do? (story time)

地点:1)班

参与人员:年级全体英语教师

上课教师:杨雨萱

教学目标:

1.能听懂、会说、会读词汇: writer, sick, people, factory, cook, driver, farmer, policeman

2.能听懂、会说、会读句型:What does your father/mother do?  What do they do?及其回答。

3.能够运用本课重点句型和词汇进行交际。

4.能正确理解并朗读课文,并根据提示尝试复述课文内容。

5.能够熟练表达父母的职业和工作内容,激发学生热爱和尊重父母职业的情感。

教学重点:

  1. 句型:What does your father/mother do?  What do they do?及其回答。

  2. 词汇:driver, policeman等职业类词汇及sick, factory

教学难点:

  1. 重点句型的用法。

  2. sick, factory, writer等词的读音和用法。

  3. does, teaches, makes等动词第三人称单数形式的读音及其用法。

教学过程:

Step1: Pre-reading

1. Talk about the title.

Today well learn :Unit5 What do they do? What is this question about?Jobs.

2. Brain storm: What jobs can you name?

3. A guessing game.

People do all kinds of jobs in the city or in the country. Can you look at the outlines and guess the jobs?

Step2: While-reading

一.Read and answer.

1. Who are these children? Mike and Su Hai.

2. Whose jobs do they talk about? Read the story and find out.

二.Read and understand.

1. This dialogue is not complete. Lets read the story and find out the answers.

Part 1: 1. What does Mikes father do? Why?

     2. Whose parents or family are teachersIntroduce them.

     3. Read and imitate.

2. Read the rest parts in your groups and find out the answers.

. Think and write.

1. Now, the dialogue is complete. Lets do some exercises according to the dialogue.

2. Think:  Why should these words add s or es?

四.Complete the blackboard design and retell the story.

1. Complete the blackboard design.

2. Retell the story in your groups of 4.

. Watch and think

1. Mike and Su Hai introduced their parents jobs. What do they say when they hear the others’ parents’ jobs?

2. Why should they say these words?

Step3: After-reading

1. We know a lot about Mike and Su Hais parents jobs? What do your parents do? Lets make a new dialogue.

2. Enjoy a video.

Homework:

  1. Read the story after the tape fluently.

  2. Make a family album and introduce your parents’ jobs.

上课反思:

本单元的主题是询问他人的职业,比较贴近学生的生活实际。因此,在一开始,我先利用歌曲试图活跃学生的氛围,接下来我让学生说一说自己知道的职业,但由于学生的预习工作做得不是特别深入,所以可能不是特别了解,因此在导入环节多花了一些时间。改进方案是首先要让学生更加充分地预习词汇,其次可以适当地减低一些难度,可以给一些图片或者单词填空的形式,让学生可以有梯子借着往上爬。在教授文本时问题问得比较多,指示不明确,并且给学生朗读的时间比较少。在课堂中设计了一些练习的题目,主要是想锻炼学生对于职业类词汇的一个掌握情况。锻炼下来发现学生对于知识点的把握还不够并且有些流程花的比较长,可以适当做出改进,减少一些题目量。

听课评价:

司晓霞最后,有一个介绍自己以后职业的拓展活动,锻炼学生综合运用句型和词组,可以进行小组交流的形式进行探讨和展示。但学生对于父母的职业可能不熟悉,不会用英语说,所以课堂比较沉闷。最后进行情感的渗透,热爱每一份职业。

李文文从整节课来看,对于课堂活动的调控能力还不够,有些地方做的比较拖沓,所以导致时间比较紧张。其次,对于学生的情况还不是特别了解。因此,对于上课老师来说更加需要多种这样的锻炼机会,逐渐了解如何调控课堂的进度,知道如何让学生能够真正掌握知识,而不是光光靠做练习或者是朗读,要给学生充分思考的空间,给学生主动权。
